Reifen Göring GmbH & Co. KG is a third generation family business that has been established 75 years ago. By time, we have made a national name. Our work stands for reliable, quality workmanship and good service going in line with personal customer contacts.

Georg Göring sen., grandfather of the current owner of Reifen Göring, back in 1920 founded a car dealership in Bochum - together with his brother - which in the late 1920's was transferred to Viersen (Rheinland). Business developed and business went on. This is the source Reifen Göring has its seeds in. Subsequently on 27 September 1935 Reifen Göring, Viersen, was founded, a retreading factory combined with a tire shop.

Georg Göring early recognized the future potential of tire retreading, vulcanisation and tire repairs. Within only a few years he created a progressive retreading plant, for that time. In the early 1940s some inventions were made and patents have been filed, such as tire fabric with metal insert, special methods for repair of tires, and elastic coupling of motor vehicles. Business grew. In consequence of the effects of war the retreading plant had to be relocated and Reifen Göring moved to Meschede, Sauerland. First in rented halls, later in own property at the current location.

In 1948 Reifen Göring was then taken over by his son, Fritz Göring, who formed the company for a long time. Business grew in subsequent years. We used hot retreading as method to vulcanise tires of all kind. Fritz Göring also extended the tire shop with branches in Sundern, Balve and Warstein.

In the night of new years`s eve 1956/57 a devastating fire destroyed much of the company building. With tireless dedication and his cheerful nature the holder quickly rebuilt the production, supported by his team.
